I am an Alumni of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity, Eta Upsilon Chapter of Arizona State University (ASU). My time as an active member was brief, but I managed to initiate a committee named the Online Technology Committee (OTC). I was elected as the Chair of this Committee as its originator.
An important aspect of Phi Sigma Pi is its Leadership in Action (LiA) program. LiA Certified members can facilitate various leadership-centered courses for their brothers. Our Chapter's LiA Committee chair requested a guide to help their LiA Certified facilitators through the technical process of planning, assembling, and executing an LiA course.
First, the LiA Chair laid out the rough process for me, and we discussed steps that were required versus steps that the facilitator had more creative liberty. We also discussed how the final document would be distributed; the Chair would provide it to those certified and interested in facilitating, which meant a simple PDF would do. During the planning, a made a list of screenshots for the Chair to send to me; I wasn't LiA certified, so I couldn't access facilitator pages.
The template, style, and tone were already decided when making the "How to Join Discord" guide. Not needing to fiddle with formatting too much made the process fairly quick, despite both the Chair and I also dealing with school and work. The longest part was waiting for responses and approvals. The LiA Chair had their completed guide within two weeks.
